2024 MAMP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 (Age, gender, race, religion, national origin or financial needs are not conditions of eligibility for this scholarship.)

 

A. The scholarship is open to any candidate. A relative or an employee of a member in good standing with the Missouri Association of Meat Processors will have special consideration but is not required.

 

B. Applicants must be graduating/graduated from high school, planning on attending a college, university, trade, or technical school or a student currently enrolled at a college, university, trade or technical school.

 

C. No specific industry-related academic program is required, but individuals pursuing a program in Animal/Meat/Food Science or related Agriculture programs of study will have special consideration.

 

D. Student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (A=4.0)

 

E. Demonstrate outstanding, leadership, service, and citizenship through participation in high school and community activities.

 

F. Those applying for this scholarship need to write a short essay concerning the “Meat Industry Today” or give “new ideas” for the Meat Industry.

 

G. A recipient of the scholarship can reapply for the scholarship as long as he/she is enrolled at a college, university, trade or technical school.
